MMSPL is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is a not-for-profit organization.  The board of directors is made up of elected league player volunteers.  Our board is dedicated to ensuring the league continues to be active, team representation is strong, and that we have fun playing a sport we love.

MMSPL brings a sense of unity into the town of Morinville. We frequently see all members in a family playing ball. Families are raising their children on the diamonds; the children play and then watch their parents play. Some seniors love to come and watch their grandchildren play the sport they loved when they were young, so we are happy to report that all generations in Morinville are enjoying our league. Regular physical activity has been shown to help a person live longer, prevent chronic diseases, and improves overall quality of life. In addition to contributing to healthy living, MMSPL is a place for local businesses to join the fun. Our league thrives on involvement and diversity. With adults staying involved in Slo Pitch, whether it be by participating, watching, or hosting, it shows a commitment to keeping sport in our community.
